Casas Lucky Charger

Casas Lucky Charger was purchased from a ranch in Bliss, Idaho, when they were dispersing there herd of horse's. Casas Lucky Charger was one of there main sire's. His colts are nice and leggy colts. When I first purchased Casas Lucky Charger I wanted to make sure that he was what I wanted to breed mare's to, so I put one year's riding on him, he has been exceptional. I have herded and sorted cattle on him in a corral. He may have alot of running blood in him but he is "cowy". When working my hot blooded rodeo cattle he keeps his composure, and just does his job.
His colts have been sold for up to $13,000 as team roping horse's.
This is a one in a million horse, he is the calmest stud I have ever been around, he dosen't have a mean bone in his body, even after not being rode in over 10 years he only bucked hard twice.
Currently I'm working on getting his papers transfered and then will offer a limited amount of live / AI breeding to him.
Click on the links in red to see some of the accomplishments by his forefathers.

2003 registered AQHA and FQHBA Grullo Stud originally foaled in Idaho from a dedicated foundation and grullo color breeding program, Smokey is now standing at Spring Branch Quarter Horses in North East Nebraska.
Smokey was brought back to the home barn to live cover Spring Branch Mares late spring 2007, except for this break he has spent the majority of 2007 with a cutting horse trainer with our hope to have him in competition the 2008 season.
American Quarter Horse Association #4448530 (AQHA) with a four generation AQHA pedigree listed.
Foundation Quarter Horse Breeders Association #005034 (FQHBA) this is a 100% foundation registered stud with great confirmation and color.
Smokey will have new colts for sale late spring of 2008 and available for transportation late fall of 2008, Spring Branch Quarter Horses is located in the North East Nebraska area with contact to be made through SpringBranch@telebeep.com. We did not breed Smokey in 2006 because we wanted to see how his two 2006 colts would look as yearlings, both are great prospects and are listed for sale on the Horse's page of this site. Smokeys foals for 2008 will have the "Poco Bueno" line from Smokey and also blood lines that trace back to                  "First Down Dash", "Rocket Wrangler", "Mr Blackburn", and "Goose Berry".
We are located between Norfolk Nebraska, and Stanton Nebraska and will be working on the ability to ship cooled semen and AI through a vetrinary clinic the spring of 2008.
